**Your tasks at a glance**
- You sterilize instruments and set up tools as needed.
- You reassure patients before and after their procedure and ensure they feel at ease showing empathy.
- You clearly explain the post-operative medication (eye drops) schedule to patients.
- You coordinate the flow of patients in and out of the operating room.
- You are comfortable working on your feet in the operating room.
- You are a stickler for details and work with precision and accuracy.
- You will be cross-trained as a _Sterilization Assistant_ _(once the initial training is completed).

- You are comfortable with computers, technology, and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of EMR systems is an asset).
- Your experience in the healthcare field is considered an asset (_Optometric Assistant, Orderly, Practical Nurse, Dental Assistant, Pharmacy Lab Technician, Sterilization Assistant, Animal Health Technician, Veterinary Assistant, Medical Device Reprocessing Technician_, etc.).
- You have excellent communication skills, you speak English **_et français également_** (advanced intermediate level of French required due to the nature of the tasks or interactions with our French-speaking patients).
- **Schedule**: You have flexible work availability Monday to Friday (start time between 6:30am and 8:00 am).
