**JOB SUMMARY**
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Take reasonable care to protect his/her health and safety and that of other workers by following Tara Energy’s safety policies & procedures, as well as government and industry regulations.
- Responsible for repair and testing of various valves, including but not limited to ball valves, gate valves, plug valves, emergency shut downs, etc.
- Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, measuring, reassembly and testing of valves at Tara Energy facilities and client locations.
- Thoroughly complete all calibration and documentation associated with testing and repairs.
- Service TARA equipment, including but not limited to taking apart inspecting/repairing various components grinding, sanding, painting, and other tasks.
- Travel to job sites and adhere to all site safety and performance requirements.
- Communicate timely updates to management, co-workers, and customers to ensure timely and successful completion of job responsibilities.
- Participating in risk assessments as part of daily operations including but not limited to working safely around industrial machinery, working from heights, in confined spaces and possible adverse weather conditions.
