Saskatoon, Canada Design Smart Security Solutions Full time

Design Smart Security is looking for full time Installation Technicians, who would be responsible for installation and service of a wide range of systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion alarms and more.

Responsibilities Include:

- Review job outline, scope of work and equipment list, prior to installation date, to ensure you understand the scope of work and are prepared for the job
- Ensure you have all equipment, peripherals and parts required, prior to going to job site
- Coordinate with customer and/or site supervisor to ensure a smooth installation experience
- Install (including pre-wire, installing, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting) security panels and devices, cameras, card access and all peripherals required
- Provide customer with training for proper system usage and answer any technical inquiries
- Complete detailed and accurate paperwork, as per company guidelines
- Ensure site/workspace is cleaned up, prior to leaving job site, and report any errors or damages to your supervisor
- Be on time and professional

**Qualifications**:

- Experience and confidence in working with DSC NEO & Hikvision.
- Be available to work out of town, and capable of working outdoors in minus-zero temperatures
- Ability to work with a variety of tools including drilling/cutting through walls/floors
- Be open to suggestions and non-confrontational
- Work well both as a team and independently
- Adheres to safety standards
- Ability to follow detailed instruction

**Requirements**:

- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Current Driver’s Abstract
- Criminal Record Check
- Have reliable transportation
- Excellent written and verbal communication is mandatory

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: $22.00-$34.00 per hour
