Based out of Western Canada or our Toronto head office, the Regional Associate works both independently, and closely with the Regional Director(s) and sales management, to develop and implement a business plan to prospect and service investment advisors within a designated regional territory.

**Responsibilities**

Work to enhance sales within an assigned region
- Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with financial advisors
- Uncover sales opportunities for our products within the financial advisor community
- Book client meetings and branch presentations
- Achieve quarterly quotas
- Add to pipeline through research, identifying key players, generating interest, qualifying and segmenting leads
- Execute on planned sales campaigns
- Route qualified opportunities to Regional Director for further development and closure, as appropriate

Assist Regional Director(s) in booking and preparing for both in-person and virtual advisor and branch presentations, including calendar management (Note: this function may involve travel)

Maintain/update advisor profiles within Salesforce, including entering activity and opportunity details

Maintain knowledge of marketing materials associated with our products and value-add offerings to effectively communicate the firm’s investment philosophy and value proposition

Actively participate in team meetings, sharing ideas, wins and challenges

**Requirements/Qualifications**

Completion of post-secondary education in finance/business

Minimum 1 year of financial services experience Completion of the Canadian Securities Course preferred

Completion of CIM, CFA, CFP are assets

Strong phone presence, communication and listening skills

Goal-oriented and accountable

Experience working with CRM and presentation tools

Excellent organizational skills

Strong customer service orientation

Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

Ability to work effectively on a team and individually

Ability to accept and incorporate feedback

Enthusiasm and knowledge of products, issues, and philosophy of the firm

Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality

Experience in conducting online meetings is an asset
