We are seeking a trainer to join our team. The Manitoba Trucking Association (MTA) exists to develop and maintain a safe and healthy business environment for its industry members and has been doing so since 1932. The MTA has more than 300 member companies representing companies who employ tens of thousands of employees in the trucking and transportation sector. the MTA is an advocacy group and the voice of the trucking industry in Manitoba.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Facilitate structured learning experiences (training) on behalf of Manitoba Trucking Association Members and others as needed.
- Develop and oversee the production of quick reference manuals, training and instructional materials.
- Utilize technology to enhance training through presentations, PowerPoints, video modules etc.
- Provide resource for up-to-date regulatory knowledge and information.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Certified class 1 license.
- Individuals with Class 1 Instructor certification preferred.
- Knowledge in the transportation industry.
- Demonstrated educator/training experience.
- Ability to teach participants at different levels and learning styles.
- Computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite, ability to use and utilize scheduling systems.
- Experience in facilitation in a 1 on 1 setting, or groups.
- Strong written and oral business communication in English.
- Excellent time management & organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and be coached.
- Post-Secondary education in Teaching, Communications or related field.
- Experience creating training programs and resources.
- Experience tracking and auditing training programs.
- PDIC/LCV Instructor certification is an asset.
