Locomotive Driver

**Job Title**: Locomotive Driver (Casual)
**Location**: G3 Stettler County
The Locomotive Driver performs duties related to safe operation of the locomotive.
**Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to**:

- Comply at all times with corporate EH&S policies and best practices.
- Promote effective communications and collaborative working relationships with all G3 and terminal staff
- Safe operation of the locomotive on car loading day
- Shift work - extended hours
- Ability to take direction from G3 Terminal Staff while loading

**Qualifications**:

- Strong work ethic, ability to learn and willingness to take on responsibilities of the position
- Locomotive experience an asset (may consider training)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Able to troubleshoot minor locomotive problems
- Familiarity with handling grain is an asset
- Must have good working knowledge of CROR (Canadian Railway Operating Requirements)
- Familiar with Department of Transportation regulations
- Good radio communication skills
- Current Locomotive Operator Certification is an asset (training can be arranged)
- Trackside and track safety training/knowledge
