**Certified Pharmacy Technician (Full - Time)**

**Key Responsibilities**:
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. Working under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will be responsible for performing technical aspects of prescription processing, medication preparation, and patient care support. Your contributions will enhance patient safety and optimize pharmacy workflow.

**Prescription Processing & Medication Dispensing**
- Review prescriptions for compliance with federal and provincial laws.
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications as per pharmacist approval.
- Perform final checks on medications prepared by other technicians or pharmacy assistants, in accordance with CPhM-approved processes.
- Identify and report any drug-related issues to the supervising pharmacist.

**Inventory Management & Record Keeping**
- Maintain accurate records of medication distribution and inventory.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medications and related supplies.

**Collaboration & Training**
- Work collaboratively with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.
- Be fully cross trained in all pharmacy operation duties, able to assume any role in the pharmacy operations

**Compliance & Professional Development**
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain competencies and licensure.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Completion of a Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs (CCAPP), accredited Pharmacy Technician program or a program prescribed by the CPhM for non-CCAPP graduates.
- Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba (CPhM)
- Previous Certified Pharmacy Technician experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical calculations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong proficiency in KROLL software an asset

**Operational Hours & Schedule**:

- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- Sunday: Closed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
