Junior Facilitator

**Behaviour Innovations**: A private agency that provides ABA services to children with autism and their families. Our services include Intensive Behavioural Intervention at home and at our school (Children’s College), supported inclusion in schools, diagnostic assessments, as well as day programming for young adults with developmental disabilities. In addition to therapeutic services, BI also provides training and consultation to families, professionals, organizations, public/private schools, and residential care facilities.

**Responsibilities**: The Junior Facilitator is expected to provide one on one programming to a young adult male with autism in a socio
- based/ community setting. The junior facilitator will provide programming based on ABA principles that is supervised by a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA), and facilitators will receive hands on training of client specific behaviour protocols. Non Violent Crisis Intervention Training will also be provided.

NOTE: Client is a male in his early 20s. Applicants MUST be MONDAYS from 11:30am-3:30pm, and be calm, patient, quiet and comfortable with behaviours. Some travelling with client in car will be required.

**Qualifications**:

- Post Secondary education in Psychology, Behavioural Sciences or equivalent or near completion of such degree OR CYW, SSW, PSW, or DSW diploma
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills, strong organization abilities. Self motivated, high energy and enthusiastic individuals are preferred
- Experience working with young adults an asset
- Updated police check is required
- Access to vehicle as some travel is necessary

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $22.55 per hour
