Operations include two manufacturing plants located in Edmonton and Customer Solution Centres located in Langley, Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, Red Deer, Saskatoon, Regina, and Winnipeg.

We are currently recruiting for a **Warehouse Technician II** for our **Edmonton **Inbound department. This individual is responsible for providing guidance of Warehouse Technicians I, materials handling, such as storage, order picking, issuing, receiving, stocking shelves, sorting, salvage, and facilitating supplier returns and inventory control, including being involved in the work and administrative processes relating to the matters of space utilization, handling of inventory transactions, keeping track of items stored in the warehouse, ensuring inventory accuracy is maximized through monitoring, analysis and investigation of discrepancies and participation in annual and cycle counts throughout the entire manufacturing facility. This role may require the operation of a forklift or overhead crane (crane training can be provided if needed); the operation of forklifts and crane are safety-sensitive positions.

This position is scheduled on our C shift which is 8pm to 4:30am Monday to Thursday, 4:30pm to 1:00am Friday.

**In this position, you will be responsible for**:

- Place goods in their allocated storage location upon receipt and pick inventoried materials required to fulfill internal and external customer orders.
- Organize product within the warehouse.
- Moving wagons to shipping for packing and crating.
- Participate in physical inventory and cycle counts, as required.
- Ensure the outside storage locations are maintained and kept orderly.
- Perform general housekeeping and organization of the warehouse and receiving docks.
- Receive materials and products from suppliers.
- Process supplier returns and transfers from other AWW locations
- Unload materials from trailers and containers.
- Trouble shoot in the event of incorrect shipments and damage products, which includes, but is not limited to, gathering details related to the shipment and notifying the purchaser and/or quality technician.
- Perform waste disposal and recycling tasks.
- Maintaining forklift certification and competency.
- Participating in rotation of forklift operation, as required.
- Operating a crane and/or providing spotting of crane, as needed; rotating assignments.
- Inspecting cranes and calculating crane capacities.

**Primary Qualifications Required**:

- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Warehousing experience is required.
- Visual-spatial awareness is required.
- Ability to follow safe job procedures, safe work practices, standard operating procedures, and standard work instructions is required.
- English communication skills, the basic comprehension of English, and the ability to understand and follow instructions is required.
- Forklift certification with experience safely and competently operating a forklift is strongly preferred.
- Ability to be aware of surroundings and ensuring safety of self, others, equipment and products.
- Must pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Testing
