**What role will you play?**:
The Site Reliability Specialist will be a key member of the product team that will deep dive into the cloud platform to manage and maintain cloud technologies in support of the operational effectiveness of our clients.

**What you'll be responsible for**:

- Develops automations to enhance operational capabilities in supporting cloud-based solutions
- Supports cloud services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning and launch reviews
- Reviews and tests reliability of cloud solutions from a performance, resilience, and security perspective
- Responsible for continuously driving forward and optimizing Availability Management process and for ensuring that any given cloud service delivers the levels of availability agreed upon with the client
- Works with the Operations Lead to implement service optimizations into the cloud environment
- Maintains cloud services by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health
- Scales cloud systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation, and evolves cloud systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity
- Ensures reliability goals and feedback signals are considered in the prioritization of development work
- Maintains frameworks or shared libraries providing core reliability features, like exporting common metrics or graceful service degradation

**What does it take for this role to be yours?**:

- 5 years of experience working in a Site Reliability or DevOps function.
- 3 years experience using Docker and Kubernetes.
- 3 years experience in the design, development, and deployment of cloud solutions (Azure or AWS platforms).
- Proficient with CI/CD tools such as bitbucket, Nexus, Jenkins
- Competent with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Cloud Formation, Ansible)
- Experience in the management of cloud cost, cloud infrastructure and DevSecOps. (Asset)
