**Job responsibilities and requirements**:

- At least 2 years of teaching experience, one-on-one tutoring experience an asset
- Be familiar with the Ontario grade 10-12 curriculum
- Experience with international students an asset

**Typical Class**

Many of our math tutors work with individual students, but our classes tend to be small with fewer than 10 students and a typical class being 4 students. Classes are 2 hours in length with a 5 minute break at the 1 hour mark. Materials and support are provided.

**Teacher Responsibilities**
- be familiar with the lesson materials
- provide feedback to students and parents
- encourage student's success
- maintain professional standards

**Hours**

Our schedule shifts depending whether students are in school or on holidays

**School year** schedule: Mon-Fri 4 pm-8:30 pm

Saturdays 9 am-5:30 pm

**Summer and Holiday** schedule: Mon-Fri 9 am-6 pm

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 6 per week

**Salary**: $28.00-$40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
Masks are being worn in the office and sanitizing of classes happens after each class.

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (required)

**Experience**:
