**About the Role**:
**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Facilitating and presenting within Winnipeg alongside rural communities
- Creating and editing documents, materials, and presentations
- Relationship building and fostering supportive networks within systems
- Problem-solving and using conflict resolution skills with balanced decision-making
- Record keeping and data collection and input
- Short-term crisis and ongoing counselling skills
- Sharing / healing circles and knowledge of traditional healing practices
- Advanced knowledge about the effects of unresolved loss, trauma, and grief

**You Have**
- University Degree in a related field and three (3) years’ experience working in the Indigenous community; or equivalent combination of education and experiences with successful program or program coordination
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed practices, harm reduction, and Indigenous cultural safety
- Ability to foster a collaborative and respectful work environment
- Lived experience and/or deep understanding of the needs of Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit individuals is considered an asset
- Ability to travel extensively throughout First Nation and rural communities (south of the 53rd parallel) in Manitoba
- Food Handler’s Certificate is an asset
- Valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s License and access to a vehicle is required
- Satisfactory completion of recent (as of the last 6 months) Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search; Child Abuse Registry Check; Adult Abuse Registry check
