**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure that dietary needs are met for each patient.
- Support patients with mobility challenges by providing physical assistance and encouragement.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following health and safety protocols.
- Document patient progress and report any concerns to nursing staff or healthcare providers.
- Engage with patients to provide companionship and emotional support, enhancing their quality of life.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop personalized care plans for each patient.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in patient care, hospice care, or senior care is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work compassionately with individuals who have disabilities or require special assistance.
- Basic knowledge of caregiving practices, including meal preparation and personal hygiene techniques.
- Graduate of an accredited College with credentials/certification.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by healthcare regulations.
- First Aid Certification.

Pay: $25.92-$27.92 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
