Winnipeg, Canada Mint Construction Full time

Mint Construction is seeking an experienced individual to be a **Carpenter/Renovator** for Mid size construction projects primarily in the Winnipeg area. Our service is catered toward a combination of both residential (New Build & Renovations) and Commercial (Tenant Fit-outs & Renovations) that require a knowledgeable, skilled hand to lead by example and execute properly.

**Projects and responsibilities involve but are not limited to**:

- Commercial Tenant Build Outs.
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
- Work alongside crew performing carpentry and general labour as required.
- Experience with wood and steel stud framing. Drywalling. Flooring, Carpentry and a general knowledge of plumbing and electrical.
- Providing operations manager with progress updates.
- Creating and forecasting material orders.
- Foster a safe work environment and follow any applicable safety requirements.
- **5+ years’ experience in the Construction Industry**:

- Credited References and examples of work.
- Have your own tools.
- Valid Drivers and have reliable vehicle.
- Ability to work minimum 40 hours a week.
- Professionalism, punctuality, leadership qualities.
- Organized; you effectively manage your time while balancing multiple priorities.

- Understanding of the current regulations within the field.
- Compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations.
- Be able to lift up to 50lb’s.
- Climbing ladders and working at heights.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
