**Responsibilities**:

- meet, consult, and asses geriatric patients and their families
- work with complex patients to provide comprehensive assessments and offer creative treatments
- accept referrals from family physicians
- be a patient advocate

**Expected Hours**:

- full-time
- on call requirement: 2 days per month

**Qualifications**:

- all family physician must have membership with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
- all applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
- all specialists must be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC)
- membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
