As a Unit Clerk, you will be an integral part of a collaborative culturally-competent team focused on delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and customers.
**What you’ll be doing**
- Work collaboratively with various departments to ensure quality patient care effective flow of information and communication
- Handle and protect confidential client and company information within and outside of the organization
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Process physician’s orders for medications, laboratory and diagnostic tests, requests for medical records and other tasks
- Assist with scheduling of physician’s appointments and manage scheduling conflicts
- Book client appointments with external service providers
- Process requests for medical records, test results and other documents
- Assist with maintaining and ordering supplies
- Input data and documents into clients’ electronic charts
**What we’re looking for**:
- Successful completion of a recognized Unit Clerk diploma or certificate program
- Completion of Grade 12
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
- One year’s recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Proven strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Comfortable with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Compensation is influenced by many factors including compensation principles or approach for a role or job function, organizational tenure, experience, qualifications or premium skills, external competitiveness, internal comparability, geography and work performance. _**_Pay range for this position is _**_$25.64/hour
