Landscape Maintenance Technician - Full-Time

Join our team at Nature’s Outfitters, an established property maintenance company since 1995, based in Burnaby, B.C. We are seeking motivated, energetic individuals with leadership qualities and a keen eye for detail to join us in maintaining residential strata and commercial properties.

- 37.5 - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday schedule
- Those with snow removal equipment experience (truck plow & salter, ATV plow, snow blower equipment will be paid a higher hourly rate, during the winter maintenance season )

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain landscapes through tasks like mowing, trimming, edging, and planting
- Care for gardens such as, weeding and cultivating, plant, shrub and tree care.
- Use a variety of hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (line-trimmers, hedge pruners, mowers, leaf blowers, aerators, etc.)
- Mechanical skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed is a bonus.

Qualifications:

- 1+ year of landscape maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of plants, trees, and flowers
- Proficiency with both hand and power tools
- Valid Canadian driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to handle outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Snow removal equipment experience is a bonus, particularly with truck plows & salters, ATV plows.
