**About Sherwood Park Manor**
Sherwood Park Manor is a full-service non-profit Nursing Home licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. The Manor has supported seniors in Brockville and the surrounding area for 45 years, creating a culture and environment that supports everyone’s potential, autonomy and quality of life.
The Manor has launched a capital campaign to raise more than $5 million from the public. This expansion project will update and increase the capacity of the Manor to better meet the evolving needs of our residents.
**About the Role**
The Campaign Fundraising Coordinator will report to the Administrator and work closely with the Board of Directors and key campaign stakeholders.
**Primary Responsibilities**
- Work closely with the Board Chair and Administrator to develop the Capital Campaign strategy, set Campaign goals, build and manage prospect lists, and prepare proposals and stewardship reports.
- Establish solicitation priorities, develop and execute targeted cultivation plans and solicitation strategies, identify and steward major donors, and plan and execute cultivation events.
- Draft and manage the communications products related to the capital campaign for print and electronic platforms, including the coordination of design and production/posting.
- Manage the Capital Campaign fundraising budget in partnership with the Administrator.
- Plan and attend various ongoing build/campaign committee meetings.
- Prepare periodic reports on fundraising to be presented to the Board and senior staff, and recommend revisions to the fundraising plan, as needed to meet our goals.
- Identify prospects on the individual, corporation, foundation, and major gift levels.
- Manage the grants process with the Administrator.
- Coordinate promotion of the project and media inquiries as needed.
- Manage donor recognition and stewardship.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Desired Qualifications and Experience**
- +3 years’ experience in a fundraising, grant writing, or relevant role.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills that can be applied across various platforms.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to create and maintain strong relationships.
- Natural curiosity and genuine passion for supporting seniors and connecting with communities.
- Self-motivated, well-organized, and a creative problem solver.
- Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role.
- Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
- Must have availability outside of business hours including days, evenings and weekends.
**Assets**
- Knowledge and experience working with donor databases.
- Experience with a design platform such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar software.
- Experience in virtual and in-person work settings.
- Reside in or be familiar with the Brockville area.
- Experience raising funds in a small community environment.
