Construction General Labourer

**Location**: Grey County and surrounding areas

**Job Title**:Construction General Labourer

We are looking for a General Labourer to take up manual labor tasks and support operations in worksites**.**
- Ensure health and safety is the number one goal by following policies, procedures and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Experience digging holes and trenches
- Read locates, and identify locate “errors” in the field
- Installations of GLB’s, conduit, micro conduit etc.
- Effective plan/allocate resources on job site
- planning/supervising vac operations, planning/supersizing drilling operations
- Plan/execute GLB installations, conduit tie ins and connections, coordinate the connection crew
- Operate a mini exactor, F550 dump truck, drive a cube van, tow a trailer, operate basic compaction tools, and tow compressor
- Concrete cutting, forming, pouring finishing work and restorations
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Adhere to company policies

**Job Qualifications and Skills**
- Experience in Telecom Outside Plant is an asset
- Ability to work outdoors and perform manual labour in all weather conditions
- Valid G Drivers License with clean abstract, DZ/AZ License is an asset
- Use various hand tools, such as sledgehammers, trenching shovels, concrete saws and pickaxes
- Ability to operate equipment around live utilities
- Horizontal Directional Drilling knowledge is an asset
- High School or Equivalent (required)
