**Physiotherapist Assistant - Part-Time**

CMH is looking for a Physiotherapist Assistant will provide group programs and individual therapy sessions to patients and their families, within the Restorative Care Program. Programs may include, Exercise and mobility programs, Cognitive programs, Basic ADL training and Back care education sessions for staff, recognizing signs and symptoms requiring change in treatment.

**Education & Experience**
- Physiotherapist Assistant (PTA) certification from a fully accredited Community College or equivalent experience and education
- BCLS certificate
- Preference given to applicants with previous experience in a hospital setting and with geriatric population

**Skills & Abilities**
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Required use of computer systems e.g.: EPIC and Microsoft Office as asset.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize duties.
- Proven interpersonal skills and ability to work well with patients, staff, and physicians.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Excellent organizational, time management skills
- Able to carry out treatment plan as designed by the Registered Physiotherapist
- Has the knowledge skill and judgement to deliver safe and competent care
