World Meats is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join their team to support and continue their impressive growth, and to supplement this growth further through the implementation and execution of a robust sales strategy.

Managing a team of sales professionals (remote and local) - the role will see the post holder look after internal sales and commercial operations, but also undertake key external sales pitches and meetings with high-spending key accounts and top business prospects.

As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for:
**Responsibilities**
- Achieving growth in the business, setting new selling standards.
- Ensuring the sales team exceeds their targets as individuals and as a team.
- Setting objectives for the team as well as targets, and coaching and performance management.
- Recruitment of dynamic sales professionals.
- Building and maintaining long-lasting go-to client relationships, working with them to ensure all needs are met by the business.
- Working closely with the senior management team to deliver company performance and objectives.
- Identifying emerging markets and market shifts, ensuring the business is always innovative and presenting itself at the right quality and price in the current market.
- The ideal individual will be a clear communicator, ambitious, and hungry to work for a successful business.

**Administrative**
- Consistently review quotes and invoices for accuracy
- Follow systems and procedures outlined in company manuals.
- Provide daily updates to your customer database.
- Create quote proposals for customers.
- Provide backup to other CSRs and office staff when additional telephone support is required.

**Requirements and skills**
- BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field.
- +5 years of sales within the food industry.
- +3 sales of team management.
- Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
