**Job Summary**
- Position Overview:_
- We are currently seeking a passionate and versatile Tutor who can teach:_
- _Mathematics up to Grade 12_
- _Science up to Grade 10_
- _Basic English for Elementary to Middle School students_

**Duties**
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to the specific individual needs of students.
- Develop engaging lesson plans and instructional materials that cater to different learning styles.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary to ensure comprehension and retention of material.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and motivation.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.

**Experience**
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is required.
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly in Math and Science, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with special education practices is a plus, as well as any classroom experience that enhances teaching effectiveness.
- Strong computer skills are essential for utilizing educational software and resources effectively.
- A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed academically is crucial for this role.
- Skilled in providing constructive feedback, setting academic goals, and tracking progress for each student.
- Excellent communication skills to engage students, collaborate with parents/guardians, and work along school staff when needed.

**Schedule & Compensation**:

- Flexible hours (after school evenings/weekends preferred).
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience and qualifications.
