**Responsibilities**:
**Personnel**
- Supervision of support staff.
- Job postings.
- Compile new hire documents.
- Manage personnel files.
- Organize and lead staff meetings and events.
- Review and update employee policies & procedures.

**Production**
- The manager functions as a liaison with clients managing complaints or issues in an effort to ensure client satisfaction is in place.
- Direct support staff through structuring, scheduling, motivation and education to produce the highest level of client satisfaction.

**Accounting**
- Bank deposit preparation.
- Accounts receivable statements, collections, policies.
- Work closely with bookkeeper to provide documents required for monthly billing, payroll, and accounting.

**Other**
- Trouble-shoot and manage day-to-day activities within the hospital.
- Review and grow Health and Safety Program with Health & Safety rep.
- Advertising, management of website and social media.
- Event planning.
- Work in consultation with the practice owner on business decisions that will positively impact the staff, clients and their pets and the day-to-day operation of the practice

- **Leadership** - you are a strong leader, with a proven track record in people management with strong conflict management skills
- **Technologically savvy** - you are comfortable learning how to navigate new software, texting and working with social media.
- **Customer focused**- you are customer service focused and strive to ensure staff maintain top-notch customer service at all times.
- **Human Resources** - you are comfortable managing the health and safety program, Employee handbook, staff mediation.
- **Veterinary Experience**- is ideal but not mandatory.
