Barks N Purrs is a force-free dog walking and pet sitting company. We are a growing business looking to hire a Part-time dog walker & Pet Sitter. We love what we do and it's a fun way to earn some extra cash for a few hours during the day.

**AVAILABILITY**:
**Corktown/St Lawrence Market**
- We are looking for a part time dog walker in the downtown Corktown/St Lawrence Market area. It would be Monday to Friday between the hours of 12:00 to 3:00pm.
- There will be times when you may have to fill in for another dog walker in the area if she is away. On these occasions you may be asked to working days
- Ideally this person may be in school part-time or work from home and have the flexibility in their day to help out and walk a few dogs or visit our cat clients.
- Some evenings may be required, but not necessary.
- **No car needed as we walk dogs on leash**

**Yonge & Eglinton**
- We are looking for part time help who can be avmailable for random walk when needed. This would be random. This person would help out when our full time walk is away or unwell.
- we are also looking for for a part time cat sitter when clients go away.
- Ideally this person may be in school part-time or work from home and have the flexibility in their day to help out and walk a few dogs or visit our cat clients.
- This position is part time, on call.
- **No car needed as we walk dogs on leash**

**For both positions, living within 15-30 minutes by travel is ideal.**

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Experience - Growing up with pets in your home and/or working with dogs.
- Comfortable walking 3-4 dogs at a time and being comfortable with all dog breeds, sizes and behaviours.
- You are an independent individual, able to plan walking routes, requiring little direction, but do take instruction well and following the clients instructions.
- Being in direct contact with the clients and listening to their needs. Open communication
- You are able to provide proof of a clean criminal record (and are bondable).
- Believe in positive reinforcement and force-free.
- A cell phone for texting, taking photos and using an online app for your schedule
- You enjoy being outside in the rain, snow and cold weather and have the appropriate clothing for it.
- Excellent time management, quick on your feet
- Able to get your Pet First Aid course within 2 months of work
