**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated **Engagement Assistant** to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with key team members to develop and implement resident programs that enhance the quality of life, promote strong engagement, and meet the goals set by Brightwater. Additionally, you will facilitate community involvement and ensure the safe transportation of residents.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Maintain confidentiality of resident, employee, and community information
- Assist with social engagement programs, including activity planning and coordination
- Consult with residents to assess activity preferences and implement programs based on those preferences
- Lead activities and maintain a variety of scheduled events (physical, creative, social, spiritual, etc.)
- Support dining engagement by collaborating with the Dining Team to enhance dining experiences
- Organize and lead Resident Council meetings
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of activity areas
- Participate in wellness and recreation program planning
- Safely transport residents as needed
**Qualifications**:
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to maintain required certifications
- Ability to drive company vehicles (authorization required)
- Organizational skills with attention to detail
- Creative and innovative with a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Experience in program development, preferred knowledge in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat
