**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers with their purchases, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and enjoy interacting with people.

This position will also include inventory management such as stocking shelves, rotating inventory and removing outdates.

Also essential is a positive attitude and ability to work as a team. We strongly encourage a healthy working environment and part of that is working well alongside your coworkers.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed throughout their shopping experience.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Upsell products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.
- Maintain an organized and clean checkout area to create a welcoming environment for customers.
- Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and provide support as needed.
- Stocking shelves, rotating inventory and removing out dated items.
- Cleaning shelves and workspace as required.
- Assisting in moving inventory throughout the store as needed.

**Skills**
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred.
- Excellent cash handling skills with attention to detail when processing transactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn about products and services offered in-store.

Pay: $16.00-$17.50 per hour
