**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to determine layout and installation requirements.
- Measure and cut tiles to fit designated areas accurately.
- Lay tiles according to design plans, ensuring proper alignment and spacing.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals including carpenters, plumbers, and electricians as needed.
- Operate heavy equipment safely when required for site preparation or material transport.
- Conduct restoration work as needed on existing surfaces prior to new tile installation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in tile laying or flooring installation is essential.
- Familiarity with construction techniques including concrete forming, masonry, carpentry, and plumbing is preferred.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to tile setting.
- Knowledge of construction estimating practices is beneficial for project planning.
- Experience with concrete finishing is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
