This position will be Hybrid in Surrey, BC.
**Job Requirements**:
- Processes bi-weekly, payrolls for locations across Canada and the USA, including salary and hourly employees.
- Manage complicated pay exceptions, bonus and incentive payments, retroactive payments, error resolution and complex problem solving for payroll, time management and financial reporting.
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality relative to personal data, compensation data and employee benefits information contained in the Ceridian Dayforce system.
- Processes various remittances - garnishments, ESPP, RRSP, group insurance invoices, WCB, EHT, etc.
- Research issues and promptly resolve internal and external inquiries.
- Assist Payroll and Benefits Manager with year-end balancing and reporting.
- Act as Front-line Human Resources support for the Surrey operation.
- Address any payroll, benefit issues with Surrey employees.
**Qualifications**:
- 2+ years of payroll experience in a multi-jurisdictional environment.
- Must have experience with full cycle US payroll.
- Strong understanding of Payroll and HR processes.
- Experience working with Ceridian Dayforce strongly preferred.
- Effective organizational and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communications.
- Strong time management skills.
- PCP, or working towards certification.
- Certified with the American Payroll Association is an asset.
