**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety standards.
- Sanitate kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas to maintain a clean environment.
- Help with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
- Support residents during meal times, ensuring they receive the assistance they need.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
- Follow specific dietary restrictions as outlined by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain proper hygiene practices throughout food service operations.

**Skills**
- Experience in assisted living, nursing home, or hospital settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling and food safety regulations.
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents and team members.
- A commitment to providing high-quality service and support to residents.
- Basic meal preparation skills are beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $18.73 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
