Based in the beautiful Fraser Valley, VLG has been providing landscaping services for over 40 years. VLG is also a continuously growing company, which offers the ambitious individual plenty of room to advance to higher positions within the organization We are currently seeking an **Excavator Operator** to join our team.

**Responsibilities**

As the Excavator Operator, you will be involved in working on our landscape construction projects. You will also need to able to physically participate in other duties on our project sites, maintaining a high level of flexibility and willingness to be a participating member of our project teams. This is will require that you perform both equipment operator duties as well as labor duties as required.

**Position Requirements**

To be considered for this role, you should be able to demonstrate the following:

- At least 2 to 3 years' experience operating mid-sized or smaller excavators including John Deere and comparable equipment
- Ideally, your experience includes time working on landscape construction and light civil construction projects
- You are flexible when it comes to duties and prefer to be hands-on when not operating equipment
- A valid Driver License in good standing
- A proven work ethic and high level of commitment to doing the right thing

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$38.00 per hour
