**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist in the planning of menus and daily specials, considering seasonal ingredients.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service during peak hours.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
- Respond to customer feedback regarding food quality or service promptly and professionally.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling techniques and food safety regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with meal preparation methods, including grilling, frying, baking, and sautéing.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy kitchen atmosphere.
- A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes is highly valued.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
