As our Strathroy, ON factory grows and expands into two locations in town, we are adding more positions and we are looking for an eager and energetic individual to step into a dual role as an **Assembly Labourer and Backup Shipper/Receiver**who will report to our Plant Manager and be a part of this transformation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coupling assembly projects.
- Assist or replace Head Shipper, when absent, with the following duties:

- Preparing all packages and palettes for shipments.
- Scheduling transport pick ups.
- Verifying products being shipped with the packing slips.
- Receiving and organizing all incoming materials / products.
- Ensuring the production floor and warehouse are free and clear of all items to ensure a proper working environment and space.
- Organizing the shop when time allows.
- Maintain a clean work area at all times.
- Light-duty general labour work in other departments if there is a period of downtime in the Couplings Department and Shipping/Receiving.
- Must have forklift experience and possess current certification which will be renewed at the company’s expense.

**Your Skill Set**:

- 1-3 years previous work related experience in Shipping/Receiving.
- Detailed oriented as quality and accuracy standards must be met.
- Overhead crane and forklift experience - we can certify if need be.

**Schedule**:

- Day shift: Mon-Fri 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

**Supplemental pay types**:

- Overtime (voluntary) pay
- First-aid certification bonus

**Ability to commute/relocate**:

- Strathroy, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Material Handling: 2 years (preferred)
- Manufacturing/Factory Environment Work: 1-3 years (preferred)

**Work Location**: In person at 1 Firestone Rd, Strathroy, ON

**Salary Range**: $22.00 - $24.50 per hour depending on experience.

Pay: $22.00-$24.50 per hour
