**Job Summary**
The Electrical & Mechanical Assembler provides support in producing components by assembling parts and subassemblies. Key responsibilities of the Electrical & Mechanical Assembler will include assembling electrical equipment, reading, and interpreting instructions, assembling parts and tools, and fitting electronic components together.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies
- Read and decipher schematics, blueprints, drawings, and assembly instructions
- Position or align components and parts, either manually or with hoists
- Use hand tools, power tools, or machines to assemble parts
- Insulate containers and cabinets
- Conduct quality control checks
- Comply with and assist with the development of safety protocols
- Clean and maintain work areas and equipment including tools
- Prepare work to be accomplished by studying part lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
- Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
- Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies
- Verify specifications by measuring completed components
- Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources
- Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Maintain inventory by checking stock to determine supply levels, placing, and tracking orders, and verifying receipt of supplies
- Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
- Document actions by completing production and quality forms
- Other duties as assigned

**Required Qualifications**
**Education**
- High School Diploma or equivalent in experience
**Knowledge**
- Able to interpret technical documents such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints or other instructions
- Solid understanding of all operating procedure.
- Experience with welding and soldering.
**Experience**
- 1-3 years of experience as an electrical/mechanical assembler
**Skills**
- Able to use multimeter
- Ability to operate hand and power tools
- Mechanical and technical skills
- Safety management mindset
- Focus on quality control
- Able to work as part of a team
**Mental or Physical Effort**
- Mostly standing throughout the day
- Physical stamina and strength
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Bending
- Kneeling
- Pushing/pulling heavy equipment and parts

- Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often very small
**Work Environment/Working Conditions**
- Regular business hours with overtime as required
- Some travel to sites as required
- Can be exposed to a strong odor during insulation
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
