As a Building Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our residential communities are well-maintained, safe, and welcoming for tenants. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, problem-solving role, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in providing exceptional property management service.

We are considering applicants for **two types of Building Manager positions**:

- **Resident Building Managers** live on-site and are typically responsible for day-to-day tenant interactions and building oversight.
- **Non-Resident Building Managers** oversee one or more properties and may travel between locations to ensure operational excellence.

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee the daily operations of the building, ensuring it is safe, clean, and well-maintained.
- Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, providing exceptional customer service and addressing concerns promptly.
- Conduct routine inspections of suites, common areas, and building systems, coordinating repairs as needed.
- Manage contractors and vendors for maintenance, cleaning, and specialized repairs.
- Assist with move-ins, move-outs, and tenant communications.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, tenant interactions, and building compliance.
- Ensure adherence to the BC Residential Tenancy Act, Fire Code, and Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Support property marketing efforts by keeping suites show-ready and assisting prospective tenants as required.

**What You Bring**
- Prior experience as a Building Manager, Property Manager, or in a related residential operations role.
- Strong maintenance and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate contractors effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, property management software, and recordkeeping systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with flexibility to work varying hours as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

**Salary**: $50,000-70,000/year **(Based on portfolio: Including building and unit count)**
