Our HR team is looking for a **HR Coordinator / Recruitment Specialist **based in Fort Erie to support nearly 150 employees in our offices across Canada. Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, this is a great opportunity for an energetic, passionate, and team-oriented individual who is looking to join collaborative team of HR professionals in a growing organization.
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for the full-cycle recruiting process, including: create and manage job postings, pre-screen applicants, provide short lists to hiring managers, schedule/conduct interviews, create offer letters and employee files, process reference and/or background checks.
- Assist in the updating of job description and job ladders.
- Meet with management to discuss personnel needs and work with the team to develop strategic HR recruiting plans.
- Coordinate the onboarding process by preparing new hire packages, coordinate and facilitate orientation in conjunction with the hiring managers, ensure all administrative tasks associated with onboarding are completed.
- Respond to all general HR related questions in a timely manner, conduct research where necessary to accurately respond to the majority of queries.
- Participate in the development, coordination, and implementation of changes and/or improvements in human resources management systems and procedures for the department.
- Assist the Director, Human Resources to implement and maintain policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment and related legislation.
- Assist in the creation and support of programs that foster the desired organization culture. Assist with the organization and coordination of team-related events.
**Job Requirements**:
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Work experience should include a minimum of two (2) years as a generalist.
- CHRP designation an asset, not required.
- Ability to speak French is an asset.
