Our areas of diagnostics and therapeutics include Echocardiography, Exercise Stress Testing, 24- and 48-Hour Holter monitoring, Pulmonary Function Testing, **Level 1 and Level 3 Sleep Testing**, 24-hour BP monitoring, **CPAP and BiPAP Therapy**, respiratory home care and home oxygen therapy and allergy testing.

**The** **Role**:
Are you a patient focused **Licensed Practical Nurse **with excellent clinical skills looking for a new role? We are hiring 1 permanent full-time position to start immediately which focuses on progression of career into sleep testing and CPAP therapy expertise in our busy clinic in **South Edmonton.**

**The Responsibilities Include**:

- Prepare sleep testing equipment/CPAP trial equipment/ the office for the day
- Greet checked-in patients in a friendly and professional manner from the waiting room
- Assist patients with their intake forms
- Maintains referrals for sleep/CPAP on a worklist, booking appointments for follow up and further testing
- Complete Obstructive Sleep Apnea consults
- Discuss CPAP therapy options with patients
- Set patients up on CPAP therapy, including setting pressures and fitting masks
- Maintains sanitized and organized CPAP trial equipment
- Update referring physicians regarding our mutual patient’s progress
- Assist patients with payment plans and insurance inquiries
- Maintains work areas in a clean and orderly condition and ensures the applicable offices are properly always supplied and operational.
- Maintains patient privacy and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Works with an interdisciplinary team and other support staff to provide optimal patient care.

**The Requirements**:

- Be a Registered Licensed Practical Nurse
- **You must be passionate about patient education and one on one interaction.**
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work well independently with mínimal supervision
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all team members and patients
- Detail oriented, good planning and organizational skills
- Clean Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector
- Full COVID-19 immunization status

Starting Salary: Dependent on experience

**Job Type**: Permanent Full-time

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
