**Position Purpose**

This position is primarily responsible for performing tasks involved with investing, operating the investment machine, ensuring general clean-up, preventive maintenance of equipment, and performing other duties necessary to meet quality customer requirements with minimum inventory.

**Typical job duties**
- Is responsible for reading the process sheets.
- Is responsible for preparing set-ups for investment.
- Is responsible for entering production in computer.
- Pouring solid molds.
- Moving powder tanks.
- Maintain machines and pump.
- Is responsible for the general housekeeping of the area and is responsible for using the proper safety precautions.
- Verifies routings with castings to assure that all previous operations have been completed.
- Informs supervisor of required maintenance.
- Completes preventative maintenance as required.
- Completes tasks Activity Instructions and Product Criteria.
- Is responsible for product quality while performing semi-routine task.
- Is able to move to various equipment without direction to optimize flow.
- Performs heavy laboring operations such as loading and unloading.
- Cross trained in a variety of areas throughout the facility.

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must read, write, and comprehend verbal and activity instructions.
- Must have basic math skills.
- Ability to use independent judgement since work is perform more or less independently.
