As a team member of Level Up Psychology, the Registered Dietitian will work with clients to increase their health and wellness. The suitable Dietician will be able to work well independently and, within a multi-disciplinary team. The Dietitian will provide high quality nutrition support to clients of Level Up Psychology and referral from community providers. The Dietitian is primarily responsible for the development and maintenance of a nutrition care plan.

This Dietitian actively integrates client-and family-centered care principles into practice; has excellent communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrates critical thinking, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills; has excellent time management and prioritization skills; and maintains continuing professional and practice competencies through professional development activities. This dietitian has a strong background in providing & leading evidence-informed nutrition care.

Level Up Psychology is a holistic mental health clinic that provides multi-disciplinary services, such as: various form of therapy and assessment, occupational therapy, speech and language pathology and more. We are an inclusive organization. If suitable, this role can be a home-based or hybrid delivery model, as we offer telehealth services. We strive to help people create happiness in their life.

**Responsibilities**
- Communicates changes in nutrition goals, diets and treatment to appropriate decision with interdisciplinary care partner team
- Identifies, adopts and provides input into best practice standards for nutritional care
- Provides individual nutrition education

**Requirements**:

- Completion of Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Foods and Nutrition
- Current registration with College of Dietitians of Alberta (CDA)
- Completion of an internship program or practicum training program accredited by the Dietitians of Canada
- Mental health related work experience including working with food avoidance (ARFID), autism spectrum disorder, eating disorders, OCD, disorder eating, and working towards developing healthy relationships with food
- A minimum of 10 year’s experience supporting individuals with various mental health needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to deal effectively with conflict in a diplomatic and professional manner
- Adept at written and oral communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Exhibit an open and sincere approach by demonstrating respect and compassion for everyone equally
- Excellent active listening skills
- Demonstrate flexibility
- High degree of independence, flexibility and commitment
- Ability to work with ambiguity and has strong desire to work in a holistic care model

This can be a hybrid position based on your clinical needs. We offer in person, phone, and telehealth option. Chose your own schedule, as our clinic is open 7 days a week. Choose your own hours and availability We strive to ensure our providers have a good work-life balance. OUR OFFICE IS LOCATED IN BEAUMONT.
