Waiter/cashier

**Job Overview**:
As a Waiter/Cashier at our Italian Restaurant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests while efficiently handling food orders, serving meals, and processing payments. Your friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and ability to multitask will contribute to creating a positive dining experience for our patrons.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet guests as they enter the restaurant with a warm and friendly demeanor, escorting them to their tables and providing menus.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly, ensuring special requests or dietary restrictions are noted and communicated to the kitchen.
- Process guest payments accurately using the restaurant's POS system, including cash, credit card, and electronic payments.
- Resolve guest complaints or inquiries with professionalism and empathy, escalating issues to management when necessary.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.27-$25.96 per hour

Expected hours: 18 per week
