Veterinary Receptionist

Chuka Animal Clinic is growing, and we’re excited to add a friendly, organized, and compassionate Client Care Coordinator to our team This is a vital role within our veterinary team - helping pets (and their people) feel welcome, cared for, and supported from the moment they walk through our doors.

As one of the first points of contact, you’ll play a key part not only in creating a positive and low-stress experience for our clients, but also in helping our clinic to grow through exceptional service, meaningful connections, and teamwork. We’re looking for someone who brings warmth, empathy, integrity, and positivity to everything they do, and who loves animals as much as we do.

**Schedule & Compensation**
- Full-Time Hours: Tuesday-Friday 8:00 am-6:00 pm. No weekends
- Competitive salary.
- 3-weeks vacation to start and 6 flex-days per calendar year.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet clients warmly and manage efficient check-in/check-out processes
- Schedule appointments and coordinate the clinic calendar to optimize workflow
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and provide accurate information about services
- Maintain organized client records, medical histories, and billing details
- Handle payments and process transactions through our clinic software
- Support the veterinary team with administrative and client-service tasks as needed
- Help ensure our reception area remains clean, calm, and welcoming for clients and pets

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a veterinary reception role is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate and professional manner
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy, team-based environment

Pay: $18.01-$20.00 per hour
