Grande Prairie, Canada Sunrise House - GP Youth Emergency Shelter Full time

This is a casual position, covering time off for full time staff. You would cover a variety of shifts that operate in the following times, 7 days a week: 8am-4:45pm, 4:00pm - 12:45am, and 12am-8:45am and additional hours potentially available that fall outside of those shift times. **You must be willing to work at least 1 "overnight" (midnight to 8:45am) shift per month and willing to work at least 4 shifts per month, in order to be considered for an interview. **We are hiring for our Casual Youth Support Worker position at Sunrise House ** - Do you have a passion for helping youth feel safe, and empowered? Are you someone who enjoys learning, navigating new experiences, and can think outside the box?_ **Wage: $20.66 - $23/hr Wage is based on a scale determined by education and experience** As a Casual Youth Support Worker you will have the opportunity to be the first point of contact for youth in our community who are at risk of becoming, or are experiencing homelessness. Youth Support Worker’s are expected to be non judgmental, compassionate, and work well under pressure.
