We are seeking individuals to join our abatement team. Saskatoon Fire and Flood is willing to train and provide required certification for asbestos work.

**Requirements**:

- A copy of your driver’s license, criminal record check and proof of vaccine are required upon hire
- Asbestos abatement experience with valid 2-day worker training ticket

Asset for position and wage
- Training to be provided, if required for applicable applicant
- Prior work experience in asbestos abatement is considered an asset
- Certification and training are encouraged (WHMIS, First Aid, Fall Arrest, etc.)
- Physically fit and can lift 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Working collaboratively with the abatement team
- Compliance with Saskatoon Fire and Flood’s health and safety protocols
- Individuals must have their own CSA-approved steel-toed boots. All other personal protective equipment is provided by Saskatoon Fire and Flood
- Able to meet deadlines while working alone and in a team environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
