Order Picker/packer

Job Description: Order Picker Packer

Key Responsibilities

Order Picking
- Accurately pick products from fridge location and warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
- Ensure picked items are in good condition and match order specifications.
- Packing
- Carefully pack orders to prevent damage during shipping.
- Label packages accurately with shipping and handling information.

Shipping
- Prepare orders for shipment by verifying packing lists.
- Load packages onto delivery trucks or pallets.

Inventory Management
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Report discrepancies or damaged products to the supervisor.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and audits.

General Warehouse Duties
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet movers and floor cleaners

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate handheld scanners and basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift items up to 30 pounds for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Work Environment
- Fast-paced fridge/warehouse setting.
- Exposure to 4 degree temperatures in refrigerated warehouse
- Requires standing and moving for most of the shift.

Schedule

Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm

Pay: $17.50-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
