**Overview**
**Duties**
- Operate CNC lathes and milling machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to ensure accurate machining processes.
- Perform CNC programming using Gibbs
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations during the machining process.
- Conduct regular maintenance on machinery and tools to ensure operational efficiency.
- Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments for quality control checks.
- Collaborate with team members in assembly processes and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Adhere to safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
- Assist in welding tasks as needed for assembly or repairs.
- Operate forklifts for material handling within the manufacturing facility.
**Experience**
- Proven experience as a Manual Machinist
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using machining equipment and tools.
- Familiarity with Gibbs or other CAD software is preferred.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
