A Lead VIM Consultant role at OpenText is more than just a job, it's an opportunity to impact lives. As a key contributor, you'll be instrumental on implementing OpenText’s Vendor Invoice Management solution for domestic and global clients of all sizes.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
- Collaborate with clients to enhance their Accounts Payable processes through the implementation of OpenText’s VIM and related OCR solutions.
- Analyze complex requirements and align them with out-of-the-box capabilities, guiding clients towards mínimal customization where needed.
- Assess various design options and facilitate client discussions to reach a consensus on optimized AP solution designs.
- Translating functional requirements that cannot be met with configuration only (requires a customization) so that a technical SAP ABAP consultant can build and troubleshoot customizations.
- Conduct thorough reviews of existing VIM implementations to identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement based on your strong AP and VIM/OCR knowledge.
- Work collaboratively within a team environment, taking on leadership roles when necessary, while also being able to work independently both onsite and remotely.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Experience supporting AP processes in mid-to-large global companies using SAP.
- Familiarity with various versions of OpenText VIM and related OCR solutions (ICC/BCC/IC4SAP).
- Proven track record in leading end-to-end VIM implementations, including workshops to gather customer requirements and develop custom blueprints.
- Proficiency in configuring VIM and experience collaborating with ABAP consultants for customizations.
- Proven ability supporting testing issue resolution, and leading the planning for, and supporting of, VIM customer go-lives.
- Understanding of various incoming invoice formats (XML, EDI, SAP DRC integration)
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English; proficiency in French is a plus
- Strong multitasking abilities and a knack for leading multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to occasionally travel to customer locations in Canada, the U.S., and abroad.
