You have a year or two of progressive experience in hydrogeology related tasks, but you also thrive on stretching your technical skills and working on multi-disciplinary projects. WSP has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Hydrogeologist to join our Environmental Management Division in BC & Yukon. You would be joining our growing hydrogeology team on a full-time basis based in the Lower Mainland, BC.
**Hydrogeological work may include**:
- Conducting site investigations, such as:
- Installing monitoring wells, pumping wells, and vibrating wire piezometers;
- Groundwater sampling;
- Undertaking hydrogeological test work (slug tests, pumping tests, infiltration testing and packer testing).
- Data compilation, analysis and interpretation;
- Collecting hydrogeological, geotechnical and contaminant information from drilling operations;
- Conducting seepage analysis and assessing groundwater inflows related to infrastructure and mining;
- Reporting to support environmental impact assessments, feasibility studies, water supply assessments, water management, and contaminated sites assessments;

**A day in the life**:
- You are a champion for Health & Safety - this is always your top priority, as it is ours;
- You will be organising and executing a wide variety of fieldwork associated with hydrogeological projects, including groundwater site characterization and investigations, groundwater sampling, drilling oversight, well design and installation and pumping of supply wells, and you will be responsible for maintaining data quality, interpretation and reporting as required;
- You will travel and participate in both local and remote fieldwork as well as rotational field programs on occasion, primarily within western and northern Canada and have the ability and flexibility to adapt to unpredictable and/or inclement field conditions and changing schedules;
