As a Data Analyst at Q4, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging data to generate insights, identify trends and provide analysis to be used in client-facing communications and marketing materials. This role requires a deep understanding of the investor relations and capital markets industries, as well as exceptional analytical and communication skills. Reporting to the Director, Insight & Analytics, you will collaborate closely with various internal teams to establish and solidify Q4’s position as the thought leader in the investor relations and the capital markets space.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collect, prepare & analyze large datasets to generate actionable intelligence, visually engaging and informative reports and thought leadership content.
- Partner with key internal stakeholders to build compelling narratives from our industry experts. Periodically engage directly with clients to validate findings and supplement reports with the ‘voice of the customer’.
- Build a repository of data-driven insights and key reports which the Marketing team can draw from for use in blogs, thought leadership materials and client-facing communications.
- Identify & recommend how further datasets could be harnessed to both expand the breadth and elevate the quality of analytical output.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analytics and visualization.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role with a track record of being able to synthesize data with meaningful analysis.
- Experience working in the capital markets / investor relations space or familiarity with financial data sources, such as Bloomberg, FactSet, or Thomson Reuters, is a plus.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages commonly used for data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to distill complex and large datasets into actionable insights.
- A curious nature, a keen eye for detail and a passion for turning data into actionable and meaningful insights.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of investor relations and capital markets industry dynamics.
