Duties and Responsibilities As the Design Drafter you will:

- CAD Detailer using CV and various software packages
- Work with management and designers
- Develop detailed kitchen cabinetry / millwork shop drawings to reflect project requirements and design criteria
- Work with site-measurement for all projects
- Collaborate with co-workers and superiors to ensure exceptional quality of design and customer service
- Develop detailed kitchen cabinetry shop drawings to reflect project requirements and design criteria
- Verify appliance specifications and ensure accuracy on production drawings
- Work with engineering to ensure layouts and drawings are ready for production and mínimal manipulation
- Ensure all drawings are detailed, clean and easy to understand for clients, engineering, and production
- Ensure all changes to drawings from engineering / production are reflected for the installation package
- Validate all hardware, finishes and critical details are reflected in the drawings
- Ensure you follow the PK standards layouts for all drawings
- Work with company CRM to perform office administrative tasks
- Work on multiple tasks that involve sales, design, and marketing strategies
- Provide recommendations towards design layouts and product information
- Provide accurate detailed drawings, both for the client and for manufacturing. Drawings will properly account for appliances, include detailed measurements, and cabinetry details as per specifications
- Check and verify design drawings to confirm to specifications and design data
- Interpret designer/architect and/or client’s drawings to product detailed drawings according to the company standards
- Ability to multi-task between orders
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain professionalism and positive mindset at the workplace
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with AutoCAD, Solid Works & Auto Desk for minimum 5 years
- Experience with cabinet vision is preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vaughan, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- AutoCAD: 5 years (required)
- drafting: 5 years (required)
