**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Safely operate a bus while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers during transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized bus interior.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, parents, and staff regarding schedules and any changes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Document any incidents or mechanical issues as required by company policy.
**Qualifications**
- Experience working with children or in senior care settings is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on communication and interpersonal interactions.
- Valid B driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record is required.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks is beneficial.
- Teaching or mentoring experience is a plus, especially when interacting with younger passengers.
- Strong writing skills for documentation purposes related to daily operations. Join us in making a positive impact on our community by providing safe transportation services
- Comfortable with using app based programs.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
- North York, ON (M7A): reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Bus driving experience.: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Class B Licence (required)
