**Advanced Bending Technologies**is looking for an experienced and energetic **Coater Helper** to join our Coating Department in Calgary Alberta.

- Our **Coater Helpers** have a **starting wage range of $20-$25** per hour based on experience and an assessment during the interview stage. Increases are then reviewed throughout employment.

Working as part of a strong collaborative team at Advanced Bending, the **Coater Helper** will assist in a variety of jobs to assist in the sandblasting and coating of product and shop upkeep.

**Essential Functions for this Role are**:

- Interpret work orders
- Handle raw material and finished product as needed
- Perform production bending after setup completed
- Prep, Paint/Coat product
- Perform other shop duties including torch cutting, saw cutting, washing, sand filling, etc.
- Measure and inspect in-process and finished product
- Label and package finished product as needed
- Perform machine maintenance and work station upkeep
- Shop cleaning and upkeep
- Work in accordance with the quality management system & complete all applicable quality records
- Work in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable records

**Experience, Qualifications, and Skills required**:

- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verballing and in writing
- Minimum high school education or equivalent
- Fork Lift Operation or certification as asset
- Paint/Coating experience an asset
- Quality management system knowledge: Production, receiving, shipping, inspection and testing, traceability, nonconformances, corrective and preventive action, document control, record control.
- A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn new things and take on new responsibilities
